Librarian Lobsters? No, they’re not some mad scientist genetic creation thing.
My family has given one lucky librarian live lobsters. Really. (This is all part of my mother’s whacked plan to get me “involved” with the book.) What book? Into the Trap by Craig Moodie is about me, my buddy Briggs, and how we saved the family lobster business (or so we think).
Librarians who used the book Into the Trap or this website with their students/patrons, entered to win 4 live lobsters delivered on New Years Eve, 12/31/11.
See who entered and what they had to say here.
The lobsters are on their way to Taos, New Mexico! Stay tuned for pictures of our far flung neighbors wrestling with crustaceans.
Ohhh. Thank you for thinking of us with your fabulous giveaway.
Here’s hoping I can get the lobsters for my pot.

If it wouldn’t break the bank, I would put a lobster in every librarian’s pot
for the awesome work you do.
Best,
Eddie
Me, who hasn’t celebrated NYE in years would love to win live lobsters! I’ll be linking to this from my blog and sharing on Twitter. I hope that counts to get me entered!
btw, I’m a school librarian in Indiana.

Edi,
I’ll be rooting for you, too, and wouldn’t want your entry to get lost in the shuffle. You’d best fill out the entry form so that doesn’t happen.
Many thanks for your support. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Best,
Eddie

Oh, by the way, you have a typo error in the third paragraph above.
Shouldn’t it say 12/31/11? You have 1/31/11.
That’s the teacher in me. LOL
Phew! Thanks!. I think 1/31/11 already happened…
Yeah, I was a little confused too (doesn’t take much lately).
Yummy, Lobsters! Or, oh, pet lobsters… Please add my name to the lobster lottery.

Hi,
Whether you want the lobsters for pets or for the pot, you probably should fill out the entry form so your name doesn’t fall through the cracks.
Best,
Eddie
Yumo!

Free lobsters sound great, and my kids love fishing stories here in Florida.
Joan,
Anyone who loves fishing stories goes right to the top of my list.
Best,
Eddie
Eddie,
Have the lobsters been sent to a good home yet? I couldn’t figure out when the drawing would be held?
Melting the butter as we speak,

Barb,
The all-important drawing is due to take place soon–and the winner will be announced right after that.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you. Don’t burn that butter!
Best,
Eddie
